On the occasion of the latest edition of the European Heritage Days, the City Hall of Ștei has placed the celebration under the auspices of ATRIUM. The theme chosen by the Council of Europe in this year 2023, namely Living heritage, matches very well with the key features of the city, which is righteously regarded as a living museum in plein air, encompassing a remarkable urban heritage and distinguished reclaimed buildings dating from the totalitarian epoch. The main features and the importance of the historical center were presented by Mrs. Ramona Novicov, Ph., a professor at the University of Oradea, who introduced the subject to a group of fifty-two young cyclists - students of the city's schools.
