LANDSCAPES, MEMORIES, COMMUNITY / 1944
"Landscape in a Box: paesaggi, memorie, comunità - il 1944" is a project promoted by the ATRIUM association to strengthen critical awareness and historical memory through the exploration of sites and architectures left by fascism. In this edition, the initiative involved high school students in an educational and creative journey focused on places and events that took place in the cities of Forlì and Cesena in 1944.
The two themes were the women's strike in Forlì in March 1944, which saved the lives of ten young men avoiding conscription, and, coinciding with the reopening of Cesena's recently restored air-raid shelter, the passage of the front line during the Second World War.
