From 10 to 13 September, the European transnational event "Crossroads of Europe" and the General Assembly of the Association ATRIUM took place in Carbonia, celebrating also the 10th anniversary of its recognition as an official Cultural Route of the Council of Europe. While thanking the Municipality of Carbonia for its hospitality and the excellent organisation of the event, as well as all the members and friends of ATRIUM, we are pleased to inform you that at the General Assembly of the Association the city of Krakow was approved to join the cultural route. As a matter of fact, Krakow boasts not only a splendid cultural and architectural heritage, but also the vast area of Nowa Huta, an impressive manufacturing complex as well as a residential and service district, built in the 1950s by the communist regime. Krakow also represents a very important crossroads of the 20th century European history; therefore the involvement of this city in ATRIUM is a source of pride and great satisfaction for us.
