9 October 2026 (Forlì, Italy)
On 9 October 2026 at 06:00 PM, the first of a series of book presentations “Letture di storie dissonanti” will take place at the Mondadori Bookstore in Forlì (Corso della Repubblica 144). The book to be presented: L’uomo dall’altro mondo. Fantascienza di un’Italia (im)possibile by Daniele Comberiati ed Eugenio Barzaghi.
This book presents an alternative history of Italy in the 1960s, imagining how science fiction cinema might have developed following a military coup. At the same time, it also offers a reflection on the present. During the event, one of the book’s authors, Professor Daniele Comberiati (Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3), will be in dialogue with Professor Claudia Gualtieri (University of Milan).
