The small Romanian town of Ştei entered The Critical History Tours European Project. The project proposes an innovative approach on urban history, using guided tours as instruments for education, dialogue and critical reflection on the past, including on the sensitive and controversial heritage. Most recently, from 19 to 21 January 2026, an important meeting of The Critical History Tours European Project was hosted by EUROCLIO – The European Association of History Teachers in The Hague (Netherlands).
